Buffelskloof Private Nature Reserve is situated in Mpumalanga Province, South Africa, on the edge of
the escarpment that forms the northern extension of the Drakensberg Mountains. Altitude ranges
from ca 1 000 to 1 800 metres. The reserve is composed of 4 vegetation types: Lydenburg Montane Grassland
(Gm 18), Lydenburg Thornveld (Gm 21), Legogote Sour Bushveld (SVl 9) and Northern Mistbelt
Forest (FOz 4).
